About this machine

The Motion Foldalite Trekker is a practical lightweight folding electric wheelchair designed for users who want the freedom of powered mobility combined with the convenience of a compact, transportable design. Its biggest advantage is its folding chassis, allowing the powerchair to fold into a much more manageable package for transportation and storage. This makes it particularly appealing for users who regularly travel by car, enjoy days out or simply don't want the size and bulk of a traditional full-size powerchair. The Foldalite Trekker is powered by a lithium battery, providing an efficient and lightweight power source that perfectly complements the chair's portable design. This particular example features a comfortable 17" wide × 17" deep seating area, providing a good balance between everyday comfort and compact overall dimensions. Maintenance-free solid puncture-proof tyres provide additional peace of mind by eliminating the inconvenience of punctures and reducing ongoing tyre maintenance. The practical flip-up foot plate can be conveniently moved out of the way when required, helping make transfers into and out of the chair easier. With a maximum speed of 4mph (6 km/h), the Foldalite Trekker provides smooth and controlled everyday performance. Straightforward joystick controls make the chair simple and intuitive to operate. For users who want a powerchair that's folding, lithium powered and easy to transport, the Motion Foldalite Trekker is a fantastic option. Condition report: Lithium Battery: tested & fully working; Frame & Bodywork: excellent; Wheels & Tyres: excellent; Seating System: excellent; Folding Mechanism: fully tested; Overall: excellent condition.

Questions about buying pre-owned equipment

Yes, when the refurbishment is honest. Every ElectricGlide machine is stripped down and put through a 72-point workshop check: motors, transaxle, wiring loom, joystick or tiller, brakes, bearings, tyres, seat mechanism and battery capacity. We replace anything below spec, then road test it. You receive a written job card listing every part that was replaced, and a 12-month workshop warranty.
