1. Who we are and our information officer

Access Mobility Scooters (Pty) Ltd (registration 2019/447120/07, operating https://www.accessmobilityscooters.co.za) is the responsible party for the personal information described in this policy. Our registered information officer can be reached at sales@accessmobilityscooters.co.za.

2. What we collect

We only collect what we need to quote, deliver, service and support a mobility product. We do not buy or sell marketing lists.

• •Order details: name, delivery address, email, mobile number and the product you bought.
• •Payment references: bank reference or payment gateway transaction ID. We never store card numbers.
• •Clinical or mobility notes you choose to share so our technicians can set up your machine correctly.
• •Website analytics: pages viewed, device type and approximate region, collected in aggregate.

3. Why we process your information

We process personal information to fulfil orders, arrange delivery, honour warranties, provide after-sales support, comply with tax and consumer law, and, only with your consent, to send stock alerts and service reminders. You may opt out of marketing at any time with one click or one message.

4. Sharing and cross-border transfers

We share only the minimum necessary information with our delivery partners, workshops and payment processors. Where a supplier stores data outside South Africa, we require POPIA-comparable protection. We never sell your data.

5. Security, retention and your rights

Data is stored on encrypted servers with role-based access, and paper job cards are kept in a locked cabinet. We keep order and warranty records for 5 years as required by tax law, then delete or anonymise them.

You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to processing, or lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa. Email sales@accessmobilityscooters.co.za and we respond within 30 days.
