1. Delivery areas and timeframes
We deliver mobility scooters, wheelchairs and parts throughout South Africa using our own fleet in Gauteng and vetted freight partners for the rest of the country.
- Gauteng local delivery: 1-2 business days, delivered by our own Access Mobility Scooters crew who set the machine up for you.
- Major centres (Cape Town, Durban, Gqeberha, Bloemfontein, East London, Polokwane, Nelspruit, George): 2-4 business days.
- Outlying and farm areas: 3-6 business days. We phone ahead to confirm access roads.
- Parts, batteries and accessories: 1-3 business days by courier to your door.
2. Delivery fees
Delivery is calculated automatically at checkout and is confirmed before you pay. You always see the delivery fee before you confirm the order.
- Free delivery on every order over R7 500 nationwide.
- Gauteng local delivery: R450 flat rate, including on-site set-up and a 20-minute driving lesson.
- Nationwide freight for scooters and wheelchairs: R750 flat rate.
- Collection from our Kempton Park showroom: free. You may also book a free demo before you collect.
3. What happens on delivery day
Our driver will call or WhatsApp you the morning of delivery with a two-hour arrival window. Machines are delivered fully charged, cleaned and safety checked.
For scooters and power wheelchairs we assemble, test and demonstrate the machine on site. You sign a delivery note confirming condition. If you are not able to be present, a family member or caregiver over 18 may sign on your behalf.
4. Failed deliveries and re-delivery
If nobody is available at the delivery address after two scheduled attempts, the machine returns to our warehouse and we arrange a new date. A re-delivery fee of R350 (Gauteng) or R650 (national freight) applies, and we will always get your written go-ahead before charging it.
5. Risk and ownership
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery or collection. Ownership passes to us only once payment has cleared in full. All machines are photographed and serial-numbered before dispatch so both parties have a clear record.
